Honk!

Christopher was musical director of Stiles and Drewe's Honk! which he conducted in Warwick Art Centre's main theatre in May 2005.

In November 2005, Christopher was lucky to work on this show for a second time with Mountview Academy finalists and director Carol Metcalf.

About the Show

From the writers of the musicals 'Just So' and 'Mary Poppins', Honk! is an Olivier Award winning musical comedy based on Hans Christian Anderson's classic story 'The Ugly Duckling!'

As 'Ugly' is hatched under the adoring gaze of his proud mum, Ida, it soon becomes clear that he is no ordinary duckling and so his musical adventures begin. With a score brimming with wit, melody and unexpected emotion, there's plenty of juicy opportunities for a cast of ducks geese, turkeys, bullfrogs and an indefatigable cat. This is an action-packed journey of self-discovery, friendship and love.

I'm so proud to have been part of a group of such talented and dynamic individuals. The performance of Honk! marked the completion of a personal ambition and collaborative project spanning the length of my time at Warwick University.
