A Night at the Musicals

Chris was musical director of the concert A Night at the Musicals at Barnsley's Lamproom Theatre with Caroline O'Connor and friends from the West End. The event was staged by Jonathan and Keith Ellis in memory of Eileen Ellis raising more than £6000 for Barnsley Hospice.

Joining Caroline were Robert Archibald, Jacob Chapman, Jonathan D Ellis, Alice Fearn, Melissa Jacques, Carl Mullaney.

Following a successful season with the English National Opera in On The Town , and a sell out season of her one-woman play Bombshells in London's West End where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Play at the Olivier Awards, Caroline most recently starred as Judy Garland in the 2005 world premiere of Peter Quilter's play End of the Rainbow at the Sydney Opera House. Following its acclaimed Sydney and Melbourne seasons, Caroline recorded her A Tribute to Judy Garland CD, and reprised her Helpmann Award winning role in Sydney at the Theatre Royal in 2006 before taking End of the Rainbow to the 2006 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
